Who your claim is shared with. If you sign up, your details are passed to Parker Kerrigan, a trading name of Harcus Parker Limited, solicitors (SRA No. 653501), who handle your claim and become a controller of your information for that purpose. With your authorisation, Parker Kerrigan runs a soft credit search with Equifax to identify your motor finance agreements. A soft search is not visible to lenders and has no impact on your credit score.

What we collect and why. Alongside the details you submit, we collect technical information about your visit, including your IP address, device characteristics, how you arrived at this site, and how the form was completed. We process this under our legitimate interest in fraud prevention: verifying that claims enquiries are genuine protects consumers whose details could otherwise be misused, and is required of us as a regulated claims business. Where you sign, we also keep a copy of your signature and a record of the exact consent wording shown, the time, IP address, page and device, so your instruction can be evidenced.

Automated checks. Enquiries are automatically screened for signs of fraud. No enquiry is rejected automatically. A person reviews any enquiry our checks flag.

Marketing. We only contact you for marketing where you have separately opted in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing [email protected].

Retention. Records are retained for six years after your case closes, in line with regulatory record-keeping requirements, then deleted.
